Dennis Miller by far. True, both he and Kornheiser were obnoxious, but at least Tony was more knowledgeable. John Madden doesn't even deserve to be compared to those two. His broadcasting skills far exceeded theirs. He may have been annoying in his own ways, but he was insightful and knew alot about players and the games history and strategy. Miller and Kornheiser are a classic example of the network trying to fuse in comedy and dry humor into the broadcast booth. They were only entertaining in a cosmic sort of way. Madden is a slobbering idiot who only points out the painfully obvious and then punctuates it with a bunch of sound effects.





Dennis Miller was too obscure. Quick witted, but his humor didn't translate to sports.





Kornheiser had Miller's quick wit and dry humor, but he understood sports inside and out. I'll miss him.





Of those three, Kornheiser was the best. Take your pick between Madden and Miller -- I couldn't stand either one.
To me Dennis Miller was pure genius...he and Rush have been to of my underrated favorites!!!





John Madden is simply Classic





Tony was okay, I had no problems with him.





The guys I have disliked over the years:





Dan Fouts, Joe Theisman and Troy Aikman (By the way, I'm a Die-Hard Cowboys fan...but Troy sucks when it comes to color commentating)
I'd have to give it to Miller. TK was least good on PTI with Wilbon, Miller never had any sports experience before or since MNF, and with good reason.

Tony Kornheiser hands down. He is a sports guy that knows nothing about sports. At least Dennis Miller is not suppose to know about sports.
1. The old Thursday Night Crew: Theisman, ';Coach';, and Generic Announcer guy.





2. Boomer Esiason. Horrible.
Tony Kornheiser was the worst MNF analyst.
Dennis Miller was the biggest mistake since the Edsel.
It is a tie between Kornheiser and Kornheiser.
